I do see John Kloss for Circa pieces here and there and since they were originally intended as lingerie pieces the vast majority are too thin or sheer to wear as proper dresses now. This one walks the edge - it def has a touch of sheerness in a strong light but you could use it as a cover up, just be daring or find a slip for under it. I am listing two of his feather printed pieces today and of all the Kloss pieces the print ones are my favorites and the most rare. John Kloss who was an Ossie Clark contemporary and I love his work. This gown is simple with a drop dead sexy twist with that twisted tie halter front. He chose good weight and quality nylons that held the color well and would drape exactly as he wished. This dress is a beautiful combination of corals and taupes shot through with sky blue that make up a killer feather print that covers the gown from tip to bottom. The front twisted and ties behind the neck and then cascades form that in a wide A-line of nylon. Sexy low back! Excellent condition!
Unlined and slips on to wear. Tagged a vintage Kloss for Circa Medium but check measurements. Edges are finished with his signature cross stitches.
